Cal

Now it’s Cal’s turn for a post.  He is such a calm, sweet natured kid.  Recently his brothers were fighting (over something totally ridiculous like what color plate they wanted), and Cal came to the rescue and made peace.  He’s just like that.

He’s also become some sort of a comedian (all kindergarten material) around here and makes us laugh.  His big, blue eyes are always shining.

That Cal is a sweet one.  We love him!

does anyone see any camera shake?

This family took a field trip from the city to the country for this shoot.  I was a little worried I would have trouble getting them to loosen up, but as it turned out they had been watching America’s Next Top Model no problem just being themselves.  It did concern me that none of the images would be focussed since I was laughing the whole time.  But apparently I managed to  keep a pretty steady hand despite myself.

Most of these shots are really their own composition since they don’t take direction well  they had so many good ideas on their own.  I enjoyed it guys.  Thanks for making my job seem like utter chaos so easy!

Here’s a little sample of what we captured.  I love the natural, relaxed look these guys have together.

Love this old door…and how sister’s yellow sweater pops against it.

Love this shot of mom and dad…

and the kiddos…just one more…

The cobbler’s children have no shoes…

and the photographer’s children have no photos…  I really didn’t take one picture at Halloween.  Now I am trying to make-up.  So, Luke gets a whole post of his own.  He was the last born, so it’s fitting that he get to do some things “first”.

The boys started kindergarten this fall and boyhood is fully emerging.  Any signs of “baby boy” days are fading fast.  We are talking about all sorts of new things…like OU football…thanks for that, Mrs. Eckert!

Here’s a look at Luke.  See the sparkle in his eyes?  He’s always got a plan.  Always thinking.  He loves being in charge and putting his plans into action.  He’s also a cutie!  Yes, I am a proud mama!

Luke’s brothers will follow soon.

a few more…I can’t help it.

I had to post a few more from yesterday.  I think because there is a such a variety to out shoot that I needed to show a little more.  I really, really love my job…how special to capture such precious little faces!

brown eyed sisters…

This set of sweet sisters have such pretty brown eyes, that I thought I would show you a few close-ups from our session.  They were troopers too.  They made it through three outfit changes and endured all the goofy noises and faces Mom and I could throw at them.  Through it all we got some beautiful images.  I love how their eyes have gorgeous luminosity in these tight shots.  Thanks for some fun girly time today!   I enjoyed it!

splish splash and puppy dogs…what more could a boy want?

This little guy just loves water!  He’s pretty fond of dogs too.  Sunday afternoon he got to see a lot of both and I think he really enjoyed his very first photo shoot.  Thanks for taking him home soaking wet, guys.  I think it was worth it!  Here are a few of him splashing and playing…we got a few with mom and dad too!
