You’ll see this shoot has a different look for me.  I shoot outdoors 99% of the time.  Other than newborns, I prefer outdoor shoots.  I love the way outdoor light wraps around a subject and I love all the textures and colors for backdrops.  I have learned that it’s just my thing.  But it was too cold to photograph a baby outside AND time cannot stand still and wait for spring.  It was time for 6 month photos…and I had to adapt.  So, I cranked up my ISO and put on my trusty short 50mm lens and worked with some gorgeous window light for this shoot.  That little tidbit was for you techies…now on to the cuteness at hand.

Seriously.  Isn’t she one of the most gorgeous babies you have ever seen?  Happy.  Content. And it goes without saying that she’s just beautiful.  We met to capture her adorable nature at this sweet six month milestone in her life.  Just like most babies her age, she is teething and loves to chew on most anything.  Her skirt and pearls pacified her teething urges and made pretty cute little adornments in these shots.  Enjoy looking…she’s going to break some hearts when she gets older!
