time flies…

I cannot believe that this is the same beautiful baby girl is the same one I photographed as a newborn 7 months ago.  She has changed so much!  She’s even more gorgeous now.  She has a curious sparkle in her eyes and a sweet little smile.   She brings so much joy to her mom and dad!

I love, love the peacock feather headband her mom brought for her.  It is just perfect with her eyes.  I think I want one!

What a fun family session.  We even involved the family dogs.  They were the first babies and are ALMOST as spoiled as my dog…now that’s saying something.

Here’s a little sample of our time together.

brotherly love..

Being a mom of boys, I understand the bond of brothers.  It’s a loud, rough, goofy sort of bond.  It looks much different from the sweet and gentle sisters featured previously.  So, watching these two duke it out and tease each other was very familiar to me.  Somehow getting in a punch or a kick is really all in the name of fun to a boy, and these two were no exception.

I love this first shot.  I love the expression of little brother.  Something tells me he has seen this behavior from big brother before.  So cute.

Here’s a little sample of brotherly love…

round two…

The first time we tried this session we seemed to come up with a perfect storm: H1N1, wind, cold temps, grey skies, and fever.  Maybe you could overcome one of those variables and pull off a session, but it’s hard to take on all of them.  Although, I must say, these girls were troopers that evening.

However, we decided to meet up again and try one more time with healthy kids and nicer weather.  I am glad we did!

Here’s a little sample of some of the beautiful images of this family.  There are really so many that I love that I had a hard time narrowing it down!

I LOVE this first shot.  I am usually all about the color, but I just love this in B&W.

lovely…

You’ll see more from these sweet sisters soon, but thought this one was just beautiful!
